Isla & Fraser

Created by parents Rebecca and Simon, Isla and Fraser was born from their own struggle to find suitable products that wouldn’t irritate their own children’s sensitive skin. Crafted from organic cotton each piece from the Isla & Fraser collection is beautifully made and timeless, and so it goes without saying that creating a logo and supportive brand illustrations needed to reflect this.

Commissioned by Pamela Holmes, director of PageLooker, I was tasked to create a heritage style logo illustration to compliment the brand. Since the brands name comes from the founders own twin children names this was our starting point, reflecting that deep familial connection that runs through the brand. We used the concept of the stork to touch on the old time magical fable of how babies are delivered, and kept to natural and soft forms to really compliment the product.

Since the logo’s creation other supporting assets have been illustrated to keep the visual language of the brand flowing through every customer touchpoint. From website icons and gift card design to gift box and packaging illustrations, there is no doubt that when you receive an Isla & Fraser item you can recognise the brand and know it’s a business to stand the test of time.

Rebecca Donegan, Founder of Isla and Fraser

“I couldn't recommend Deborah enough. Her illustrations are so intricate and considered. Not only has she created a truly stunning and unique logo for our brand, but she has also created complementary illustrations for our packaging and website - we are constantly inundated with compliments from happy customers about our beautiful gift boxes. Deborah has helped bring our brand to life and we couldn't be happier.”
